Objectives

The UBC subspecialty infectious diseases training program’s objective is to train well rounded infectious diseases clinicians. The program has the ability to accommodate most trainee interests and provides a program that is tailored to each individuals’ goals.

Past trainees have gone on to complete additional training in areas including but not limited to addiction medicine, antimicrobial stewardship, HIV medicine, medical education, transplant infectious diseases, and ICU. UBC also has the clinician investigator program (CIP) which supports additional research training post-fellowship.
